Researchers detail in 'Legionella pneumophila DNA in serum samples during Legionnaires' disease in relation to C-reactive protein levels,' new data in legionnaire disease. According to a study from Netherlands, "Legionella pneumophila DNA can be detected in serum from patients with Legionnaires' disease (LD).
