Research from H.H. Liu and co-researchers in the area of plague described

According to a study from Beijing, People's Republic of China, "Despite the importance of pneumonic plague caused by Yersinia pestis, a few is known about the interaction between Y. pestis and its host at the molecular level during the pneumonic plague development. In this study, we employed an intranasally challenged plague model in mice for investigating the kinetics of the disease progression by transcriptional profiling of Y. pestis and mice using qRT-PCR and microarray, respectively."
