Research from R.K. Srivastava and co-authors provides new data about tuberculosis

"Isoniazid, rifampicin and pyrazinamide during short-course chemotherapy for tuberculosis can result in liver injury. The coexistence of tuberculosis and diabetes is common in patients who receive inadequate treatment, The risk of hepatotoxicity from many toxicants is increased at diabetic rats," scientists writing in the journal Methods and Findings in Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology report.
