New infectious diseases research reported from Kasturba Medical College, Department of Medicine

Current study results from the report, 'Disseminated tuberculosis presenting as mesenteric and cerebral abscess in HIV infection: case report,' have been published. According to recent research published in the The Brazilian Journal of Infectious Diseases, "Disseminated tuberculosis in HIV infection involves multiple organs. Pulmonary and lymph node involvement are the commonest form of tuberculosis in HIV infection [1, 2]."
