2011 DEC 27 -- According to the authors of recent research from Paris, France, "Invasive pulmonary aspergillosis (IPA) is a life-threatening infection documented in up to 15% of hematology patients who require intensive care for acute respiratory failure. We report outcomes in hematology patients given mechanical ventilation (MV) with IPA."
