Siemens Medical Solutions selects SUSE Linux software system to enhance MRI products

Novell (NOVL) and Concurrent (CCUR) announced that Siemens Medical Solutions, a developer of MRI technology and applications, has selected SUSE Linux enterprise real time operating system and NightStar application development tools for its Magnetom magnetic resolution imaging (MRI) products. SUSE Linux enterprise real time is built on top of the SUSE Linux enterprise 10 platform from Novell and has been extended with real-time computing capabilities from Concurrent.
