Recent findings from the Netherlands, Italy and Spain illuminate research in surgery

Investigators in the Netherlands, Italy and Spain have published new surgery data.

Study 1: The crush technique of bifurcation stenting with drug-eluting stents is associated with favorable outcomes for most lesions.

Recent research from The Netherlands notes, "The purpose of this study was to evaluate predictors of an adverse outcome after 'crush' bifurcation stenting. The 'crush' technique is a recently introduced strategy with limited data regarding long-term outcomes."
