Reports from the United States and South Korea describe recent advances in surgery research

Data on surgery are outlined in reports from the United States and South Korea. Study 1: A pooled analysis from four randomized trials determined that treatment of intermediate lesions with drug-eluting stents appears safe and results in a marked reduction in clinical and angiographic restenosis compared to bare-metal stents.
