Chase Medical files patent infringement suit

Chase Medical, Inc., a Dallas, Texas company specializing in products for the treatment of cardiovascular disease, announced that it had filed a patent infringement lawsuit against CHF Technologies, Inc., and Endoscopic Technologies, Inc., (also known as Estech).

The lawsuit alleges that products/methods related to the "Blue Egg" left ventricular restoration products (catalog numbers CHF-90k, CHF-100k, CHF-110k, CHF-120k, CHF-130k, and CHF-140k) infringe, induce others to infringe, and/or contributorily infringe one or more claims of U.S. patent no. 6,681,773 (the '773 patent).
