"Diagnostic laparoscopy revealed an apparent inflamed appendix and left-sided unruptured tubal ectopic pregnancy. This case illustrates the importance of considering multiple pathologic disorders in a patient with an acute surgical abdomen, especially in pregnancy," wrote E.J. Hazebroek and colleagues.
