Researchers report details of new studies and findings in the area of knee osteoarthritis

Knee osteoarthritis data are the focus of recent research from the United Kingdom.

Study 1: Pulsed shortwave therapy fails to significantly reduce joint inflammation in knee osteoarthritis patients.

In a "double-blinded, randomized, controlled trial," scientists in England evaluated the "effects of pulsed shortwave on osteoarthritis of the knee."
