Agfa, Sonix offer integrated financial and business services to U.S. imaging centers

Agfa HealthCare has entered into an agreement with Sonix HealthCare Solutions (SHS) of Hauppauge, New York (USA) under which Agfa HealthCare will enable its Imaging Center customers to purchase the complete line of SHS financial and business consulting services in the United States.

The agreement brings a key component to Agfa's integrated workflow solutions package for Imaging Centers, a market that is responsible for more than one third of the revenue within the diagnostic imaging market. Nearly 30% of those Imaging Centers currently outsource their billing services, creating an estimated $10 billion market for such services.
