San Diego emergency and critical care center set to open

Sharp Grossmont Hospital is preparing to open the doors to its new Emergency and Critical Care Center - one of the most technologically advanced emergency and intensive care facilities in the nation.

The $63 million, 165,000-square-foot center was built to meet the demand for emergency and critical care services in San Diego - one of America's fastest growing cites. In addition, its Disaster-Emergency Response Center prepares the city to respond during heightened terror alerts.
