Who Is Doing What (Gene Therapy), And Where?

According to a report by Frost & Sullivan, cancer gene therapy is expected to account for as much as 94% of the gene therapy revenues as early as 1997 and expected to reach projected revenues of $1.25 billion by the year 2000.

By the end of 1994, the Recombinant DNA Advisory Committee (RAC) had approved 42 trials related to gene insertion as a cancer therapeutic and cancer vaccines, reports Gail Dutton in the March 1, 1995, issue of Genetic Engineering News.
