WHO Seeks Proposals on Malaria, Gene Mapping, Vaccines and Pathogenesis

The Tropical Disease Research (TDR) Steering Committee on Strategic Research at the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, has issued a request for proposals. Proposals must be received by July 25, 1995.

The committee will examine research proposals when it meets September 25-28, 1995.

The committee's research focuses on genome mapping, pathogenesis and molecular entomology. It will give priority to proposed research that involves scientists from developing countries or that provides opportunities for training.
