NIAID Launches Three New AIDS Vaccine Trials

Three new trials of experimental vaccines to prevent HIV infection or AIDS recently began enrolling 144 total needed volunteers, the U.S. National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) announced.

Volunteers are being recruited through NIAID's AIDS Vaccine Evaluation Group (AVEG), which consists of six clinical units located in St. Louis, Missouri; Nashville, Tennessee; Seattle, Washington; Birmingham, Alabama; Baltimore, Maryland; and Rochester, New York.
