"Foodborne Outbreak of Hepatitis A, Arkansas, 1994."

According to an abstract submitted by the author to the 35th Interscience Conference on Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy, sponsored by the American Society for Microbiology, held September 17-20, 1995, in San Francisco, California, "Background: Despite use of immune globulin in select situations and education regarding hygiene, hepatitis A outbreaks associated with infected foodhandlers still occur. During August 7-18, 1994, 25 hepatitis A cases were reported in Helena, Arkansas. Two cases were reported in the previous year from this area.
