Bone Marrow Cells Expressing hsp65 Protect Against TB

Bone marrow cells expressing mycobacterial hsp65 appear to offer protection against tuberculosis, according to a murine study conducted in the United Kingdom.

"Our findings are consistent with extensive evidence that murine bone marrow cells expressing a foreign gene from retroviral vector can repopulate mouse tissues," researcher C.L.
