"Vaccine Formulation and Schedule Determines Kinetics of Cytokine Expression and Lymphocyte Phenotypes in Lungs of Mice Challenged with Respiratory Syncytial Virus."

Published in Vaccine Weekly, June 3rd, 1996

According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the 96th General Meeting of the American Society for Microbiology, held may 19-23, 1996, in New Orleans, Louisiana, "We have examined cytokine mBNA secretion, protein production, and lymphocyte infiltration in lungs of mice primed with killed or live antigens and challenged with RSV. Stable cytokine mRNA expression was achieved if the prime-challenge interval was greater than 2 weeks. The expression of IL-4 and IFN-gamma mRNA was established by day 4 after challenge and was maintained through day 12.
