According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the 11th International Conference on AIDS, held July 7-11, 1996, in Vancouver, British Columbia, "Objective: To assess HIV vaccine attitudes and beliefs, and to determine whether giving hepatitis B vaccine affects rates of follow-up. Methods: A cohort of 202 (118 males, 84 females) HIV seronegative STD clinic attenders who spontaneously returned for post-test HIV counselling, was assembled between June and Dec 1993.
