"Hepatitis A and B Infection in Children with Haemophilia in Poland."

According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the 22nd International Congress of the World Federation of Hemophilia, held June 23-28, 1996, in Dublin, Ireland, "The patients with congenital bleeding disorders are the high risk group of hepatotropic viruses infection then in general population. These viral diseases are predominantly being transmitted by substitution concentrates. In fact 60 boys with haemophilia were vaccinated against HBV infections. The effectiveness of immunisation was proved 8 months after the primary vaccinations. Seroconversion was observed in all patients.
