Preventive Health Effort Aims To Boost Adult Rates

More than 70 clinics and locations in Washington, D.C., offered flu shots at no cost to many seniors as part of a national campaign to immunize residents age 65 and older.

The effort was an activity of National Adult Immunization Awareness Week, October 20-26, 1996, and was sponsored by the District of Columbia Coalition for Prevention, and coordinated by the Delmarva Foundation for Medical Care, Inc.
