Interim Results of HGP-30 AIDS Vaccine Study Announced

Cel-Sci Corp., Alexandria, Virginia, announced interim results of its Phase I safety study with the HGP-30 AIDS vaccine in HIV infected individuals.

AIDS Research Alliance, West Hollywood, California, has been conducting the 24 patient study. The interim analysis at week ten showed the first two administrations of the HGP-30 AIDS vaccine to be safe in HIV infected patients.

Proof of safety of HGP-30 in HIV infected individuals is the primary goal of this study. When evaluated as a group, disease stabilization during the ten week evaluation period was seen in patients with a CD4 count between 300 and 750. The number of patients with a CD4 count...
