"Adoptive Immunotherapy of Cytotoxic T Lymphocytes Induced by CD86-Transfected C1300 Murine Neuroblastoma."

According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the Fifth International Conference on Gene Therapy of Cancer, held November 14-16, 1996, in San Diego, California, "Recently, our studies using CD86 (B70, B7-2) transfected (CD86+) C1300, A/J mouse derived neuroblastoma cell line, have demonstrated the importance of costimulatory signal in the induction of antitumor immunity. Inoculation of CD86 transfectant could induce vaccination effect, however, this transfectant could not induce systemic immunity against existing wild-type (wt) tumors.
