According to the authors' abstract of an article published in American Journal of Preventive Medicine, "CHILD (Children's Health, Immunization, Linkages, and Development) Profile began as a two-county-wide child health and immunization tracking project sponsored by Snohomish Health District and Seattle-King County Department of Public Health in Washington State. The project receives funds through the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's All Kids Count Project, Washington State Department of Health, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Immunization Action Plan.
