Vaccine adjuvants use different immune pathways to immune responses, study findings suggest.

Vaccine adjuvants exert critical and unique influences on the quality of immune responses induced during active immunizations, noted George S.N. Hui and Caryn N. Hashimoto, University of Hawaii ("Pathways for Potentiation of Immunogenicity during Adjuvant-Assisted Immunizations with Plasmodium falciparum Major Merozoite Surface Protein 1," Infection and Immunity, November 1998;66:5329-5336).
