The researchers have found a new way to cripple the microbes that have become increasingly resistant to antibiotics. Their finding could help develop immunization against the Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacterium which is responsible for most hospital-acquired pneumonia deaths. The bacteria kill half the hospital patients they infect.
