According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the 90th Annual Meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research, held April 10-14, 1999, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, "While the importance of immunological adjuvants for optimal induction of antibody and T-cell responses against tumor antigens is clear, the relevant potency of different adjuvants is not clear. We have screened 19 different immunological adjuvants with KLH conjugate vaccines containing MUC1 peptide and GD3 ganglioside in the mouse.
