Promising New Class of Vaccines Discovered

Progenics Pharmaceuticals, Inc, announced an important scientific discovery that may significantly help in the development of an effective vaccine against HIV.

The finding is described in the Journal of Virology (vol. 74, no. 2) and was the result of a collaboration between scientists from the Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center (ADARC) in New York City and Progenics.
