Contraindicated No Longer in Hypotonic-Hyporesponsive Children

Pertussis vaccination is no longer contraindicated in children who have experienced hypotonic-hyporesponsive to previous vaccination, suggests a study from Australia.

"Hypotonic-hyporesponsive episodes (HHE) were once considered a contraindication to pertussis vaccination," stated H. Goodwin and colleagues from the New Children's Hospital, Australia.
