Trial Participants Try Intradermal Immunization

According to a Canadian study, higher-dose intradermal administration of the hepatitis B virus (HBV) vaccine may be a cost-effective, viable method for inoculating vaccine recipients.

Currently, the standard method for HBV vaccine administration is via the intramuscular route.

E.A. Henderson and others of Calgary General Hospital conducted the trial of more than 700 healthcare workers.
