Rates Of Vaccination Against Influenza And Pneumococcus Remain Suboptimal In Elderly

K.M. Chan-Tack, with the University of Missouri, pointed out that influenza and pneumococcal infections are the most vaccine-preventable diseases among the elderly. The researcher sought to confirm that people 65 and older were not deriving full benefit from this preventive health measure.
