CEL-SCI Corporation Extends Agreement With U.S. Navy For Vaccine Collaboration

CEL-SCI Corporation announced that its Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with the Naval Medical Research Center (NMRC) of the U.S. Navy to jointly develop a malaria vaccine utilizing CEL-SCI's L.E.A.P.S. (Ligand Epitope Antigen Presentation System) technology has been extended for a third time.

In October 2000, the Naval Medical Research Center and CEL-SCI announced that an experimental peptide, based on CEL-SCI's L.E.A.P.S. technology, induced protective immune responses against challenge from malaria-causing organisms.
