Early data suggests cartridge-based injection system is safe and effective

Antares Pharma, Inc., (ANTR) announced the results of preliminary human clinical studies performed with a new needle-free injection system that the company is developing. The new injector is unique in that it incorporates a drug-filled cartridge into the device for ease of use.

Two studies were conducted using human volunteers to demonstrate the effectiveness of the needle-free injection system, code named the MJ8. The key feature assessed was injection quality, and more than 500 injections were administered and evaluated.
