Innovative vaccine now in trials for advanced cancer patients

An original procedure to perform a vaccination of cancer patients with a composition prepared with their own blood has been developed by PharmaBlood, a company with headquarters in Florida.

The vaccine includes a pretreatment of the patient in order to reach high blood levels of tumor-released specific molecules or tumor antigens. A sample of patient's blood is further submitted to laboratory procedures to improve its antigenicity prior to being reinjected to the patient. In addition, the patient's immune system is conditioned for an empowered immune response. The procedure includes an internal vaccination performed by high production and release of tumor antigens...
