Maternally transferred monoclonal IgG induce IgE unresponsiveness in mice

If findings from a study conducted in mice hold true for humans, researchers think "maternally transferred or neonatally injected allergen-specific monoclonal antibodies in combination with natural or prophylactic exposure to the respective allergens during early childhood" could be a new strategy to prevent allergy and asthma.
