Surgeon Gen. Hans-Michael Jelsdorf, head of the Defense Health Service, said that soldiers being vaccinated were ones "who be could be considered in connection with an assignment in the Gulf area."
"We are talking about all kinds of soldiers - on land, at sea and in the air," he said, but didn't say how many. Denmark's military has 30,000 personnel.
