Primary care doctors should understand immunizations for international travel

According to recent research from the United States, "Immunizations play a vital role in protecting travelers from infections they may acquire during international travel. Primary care providers must recognize the importance of vaccine-preventable diseases in travelers, as well as the indications, contraindications, and side effects of available vaccines."
