International group created to prevent spread of tick-borne encephalitis

The International Scientific Working Group on Tick-Borne Encephalitis (ISW-TBE) has been established to control the spread of TBE.

"Vaccination can only be offered effectively to the general public by the means of social marketing. Experience gained with tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) in Austria will be used to demonstrate the need and importance of this public health tool," scientists in Austria report.
