Acid-degradable microgels developed for protein-based vaccines

Essig, MS, ELS, senior medical writer - Researchers have developed a vaccine delivery system consisting of microgels capable of degrading in the slightly acidic environment found inside the phagosomes of antigen-presenting cells, according to a report in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences USA.
