Superior results reported with CAP vaccines

BioSante Pharmaceuticals, Inc., (BISP) announced results of several studies demonstrating the superiority of its innovative calcium phosphate nanoparticulate (CAP) vaccine adjuvant and delivery system, BioVant, compared to the only approved adjuvant, aluminum salts (alum).

The results were presented at the 6th annual Conference on Vaccine Research in Arlington, Virginia. The company also recently announced a cooperative research and development agreement (CRADA) with the U.S. Army to use the new technology in the development of biodefense vaccines.
