Pharmaceutical company reports second quarter, clinical development results

Progenics Pharmaceuticals, Inc., (NASDAQ: PGNX) announced its results of operations for the second quarter ended June 30, 2004, and first half of 2004. The company also provided an update of its clinical development programs for its lead product candidate, methylnaltrexone (MNTX), an investigational drug for the treatment of opioid-induced constipation and post-operative ileus. Revenues for the second quarter ended June 30, 2004, totaled $2.2 million compared to $1.7 million for the same quarter in 2003. For the first half of 2004, Progenics reported revenues of $3.9 million compared to $3.7 million for the comparable period in 2003. Revenues...
