Flu activity picking up in Colorado; vaccine restrictions lifted

The top health official in Colorado has lifted all restrictions on the flu vaccine, saying everyone should be vaccinated after weeks of concern over whether there were enough shots to protect those most at risk.

State public health chief Douglas Benevento made his announcement January 4, 2005, a day after a similar recommendation was made by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
