Rapid HIV test available in over-the-counter market

MedMira Inc. (MedMira) (MIR, MMIRF) announced that it has completed a second shipment of its over-the-counter (OTC) MiraCare Rapid HIV Test (MiraCare) against a standing order.

Since MiraCare's introduction, the number of retail pharmacies selling the test has increased from 50 to over 300.

This second shipment comes just 3 weeks following the launch of this product into Hong Kong and Macao, China. MiraCare is distributed to pharmacies in Hong Kong and Macao by Goodman Medical Supplies Ltd., a medical supply distributor in this region, and it is the first in MedMira's new line of products destined for OTC purchase.
