New data illuminates research in malaria vaccines

Study 1: Scientists have developed a method to calculate liver-to-blood inocula, parasite growth rates, and pre-erythrocytic vaccine efficacy, using serial quantitative polymerase chain reaction studies of volunteers challenged with malaria sporozoites.
