Charles Farthing receives 2005 HIV Leadership Award as 'outstanding physician'

AIDS Healthcare Foundation, (AHF) the largest AIDS organization in the U.S. which operates free AIDS treatment clinics in the U.S., Africa, Central America and Asia, announced that its chief of medicine, Charles Farthing, MD, has received a 2005 HIV Leadership Award.

The award was in the category "outstanding physician" and was awarded by TheBody.com, the online HIV/AIDS medical information resource, during its 10th Annual HIV Leadership Awards. The awards recognize leadership in the fields of HIV/AIDS treatment, education and prevention. Farthing was 1 of 10 physicians to be so honored.
