Humoral responses examined in monkeys vaccinated with A-beta vaccine

Vaccination with the Alzheimer disease-associated beta-amyloid 1-15 peptide vaccine elicited specific humoral immune responses in rhesus monkeys.

According to recent research from China, "Alzheimer disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by overproduction of beta-amylold (A-beta), with the subsequent pathologic deposition of A-beta which is important for memory and cognition.
