Dr. Joseph Eiden named vice president, clinical research and medical affairs

Cerus Corp. (CERS) announced that Dr. Joseph Eiden has joined the company as vice president, clinical research and medical affairs.

Eiden will oversee the company's clinical development efforts.

Eiden brings to Cerus a reputation that is based on more than 20 years of experience. Most recently, Eiden was senior director of clinical research and medical affairs at Chiron vaccines.
