Varicella outbreak work center for handicapped adults reported

Researchers report an outbreak of varicella in a work center for psychologically handicapped adults in a recent issue of Medicina Clinica. "An outbreak of varicella is described in a training and work center for psychologically handicapped adults with a high susceptibility to the disease. A questionnaire self-complimented by parents and staff of the center was used. A serologic study in order to determine antibodies against varicella was carried out for people without varicella vaccination or disease history," investigators in Spain report.
