Antigen-specific immunotherapy using CpG ODN was developed in new mouse model

Scientists have developed a new antigen-specific immunotherapy using CpG oligodeoxynucleotides in a new, unique mouse cutaneous eosinophilic inflammation model.

According to recent research published in the European Journal of Immunology, "The number of patients with severe atopic dermatitis (AD) has been on the rise recently. We are therefore urgently in need of a treatment that can suppress Th2 cell-mediated responses in an antigen-specific fashion.
